Abstract / samenvatting in Nederlands:

Trefwoorden in Nederlands: agrobiodiversiteit, ecosysteemdiensten, bodem, bodemverzorging, grasklaver, gebruikskruisingen

Abstract / summary in English:

Agriculture, biodiversity and ecosystem services are inextricably linked to one another. And they are all under great pressure. This brochure starts out with a short discussion of the value of ecosystem services and biodiversity, and then discusses the value of a number of biodiversity measures that farmers could take. These examples are intended to inspire farmers to better support, and make more use of, natural processes, in such a way that farms and biodiversity will both benefit. Finally, this brochure discusses the design of revenue models for farmers as managers of nature, landscape, water purification, carbon sequestration and particulate matter reduction.
